About Me

My passion for supporting expecting and new parents started after I experienced trauma following my son's birth. It left me heartbroken that his birth had left me traumatized and unsupported. After reaching out to a parenting forum to process my birth experience, I noticed there were other mothers who had similar experiences if not, worse than my own. 

I felt compelled to do something after reading how many mothers within my area were fighting Postpartum Depression and Anxiety in silence. I learned more about birth workers and how they serve as a bridge between the primary care provider and patient relations. This role became my passion to help and support expecting and new parents within the San Francisco Bay Area. 

I am a birth worker, peer lactation counselor, childbirth educator and an energy healer! I graduated from UC Santa Cruz and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American and Latino Studies with an emphasis in Gender, Migration and Health. I started my business, Leto’s Maternity Isle, to help expecting and new parents navigate through their parenting journeys by offering physical & emotional support, patient advocacy and resources. I love learning and working with expecting and new parents!

On my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling for my kids extracurricular activities. I love going to the beach and hearing the ocean waves soothe my nervous system. I enjoy curling up with a good book during the cold and rainy seasons to expand my knowledge and learn more about alternative healing modalities.
